Delete your account

You can delete your HealThaali account and the data attached to it. This page sets out both routes — the one inside the app, and the email request that works today — along with exactly what is removed and what to send.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account removes it and everything stored with it:

  • Your profile — name, age, gender, height, weight and the goal you chose
  • Health information you entered, such as a self-reported condition
  • Food preferences, lifestyle settings and Food Memory
  • Meal plans, logged meals and the nutrition totals that follow
  • Weight entries and the progress built from them
Deleting is permanentAn account cannot be restored once it has been deleted, and the plan, logs and progress that went with it cannot be brought back. If what you actually want is to stop the reminders, turn notifications off in Settings instead — that leaves your data in place.

1. In the app

Deletion is self-service inside the app, so you do not have to wait for anyone to read a message.

The Android app is not published yetUntil it is, this route does not exist for anyone, and the email request below is the one that works today. The steps here are the route the app will offer once it is on Google Play.

  1. Open Settings

    Settings sits in the app next to your health profile and notifications.

  2. Open Data & Privacy

    The app keeps your data controls together on one screen.

  3. Delete your account

    Use the delete option there. Everything listed on this page goes with the account.

2. Ask by email

If you have uninstalled the app, cannot sign in, or would simply rather not do it yourself, send the request to info@healthaali.in. Send it from the address on the account where you can: that is how a request is matched to an account. If you have lost access to that address, say so and tell us anything else that identifies it.

What happens next

  • We act once the request can be matched to an account, so please write from the address on it if that is still possible.
  • When the account is deleted, the data listed above goes with it. If a copy still exists in a backup, it is overwritten on the schedule the privacy policy describes rather than kept for a purpose of its own.
  • We reply to confirm when it is done, so keep the thread if you need it.
  • The request is not used for anything else. It is not added to a mailing list, and it does not change anything about the rest of your relationship with HealThaali.
